I’ve been photographing Luca since he was a newborn (which I’m now realizing that I still haven’t blogged…whoops!), and have been so lucky in having Rachael as a client turned friend. It’s no secret that I love photographing mothers and their children; as a mainline baby photographer, I always treasure being able to give mothers the gift of images of them and their children. Rachael and Luca came to my mainline photography studio for this session and she choose one of my favorite dresses from my studio wardrobe to wear for the session. Nothing like lace and off the shoulder sleeves!
There’s nothing I love photographing more than mothers with their children, so I was so happy when gorgeous Jill hopped in front of the camera for Joey’s first birthday portrait session. Like most little ones do who visit my studio, he was very much entertained with my curtains and windows! Both Jill and Joey’s outfits were borrowed from my studio wardrobe, which is available to all clients. As a Philadelphia baby photographer and Philadelphia newborn photographer, I love when mamas choose a simple portrait session for their little one’s first birthday.
Lorin and Ava joined me for my Motherhood Event in my Paoli studio this spring and I’m so glad that they did. I was so honored when Lorin told me that this was the first time that Ava was having professional photographs taken, and some of the first photos that they had taken together.
Kelly and Cooper were my first session in the Motherhood Portrait Event that I held in my Main Line Pennsylvania natural light studio. Cooper is one of the happiest, smiliest, sweetest babies I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. He was all smiles for the session and I was happy to snap a portraits of him crawling around the studio, along with him and his gorgeous mama together.
I absolutely loved capturing the love and sweetness between this mama and her baby girl in this family photography session. I chose pieces from the studio wardrobe, selecting a neutral sweater for mom and a sweet denim dress for her daughter. I couldn’t help but try a vintage dress for the second half of session; she was a spitting image of Shirley Temple!
