Remember when American Girl had dolls that you could choose your own hair, eye, and skin color for? Hopefully they’re still around or I’m really dating myself here, but I chose one for my first American Girl doll. She had…red hair and green eyes. I’m Italian.
I’ve always loved redheads, so when Vivienne and her gorgeous mother Caroline walked into my studio, you can imagine my excitement!
Now that the weather is slowly changing, I love to hold portrait sessions outdoors (though many families opt to do a mix of studio and outdoor portraits!). There are so many beautiful outdoor spaces in Chester County and on the Main Line as a whole (and let’s not forget about the Wissahickon outside of Philadelphia!) and we definitely take advantage of them.

I love photographing babies (and their mamas!) without many props or accessories; they are perfect the way that they are, and it allows the focus to be on their toothy smiles, plump little legs, and tufts of hair on their heads – all the things that you’ll want to remember when they’re all grown up.
